Title:Ukraine Prepares Groundbreaking Crypto Reserve Bill

Ukraine Moves Toward Strategic Bitcoin Reserve with Binance Support:

As Ukraine continues to modernize its financial infrastructure, the country is now taking a bold step toward embracing digital assets at a national level. In a move that mirrors the United States’ approach, Ukraine is preparing to create a strategic Bitcoin reserve—and global exchange giant Binance is set to play a key role in the process.

Bitcoin Reserve Legislation in the Works

According to a report by local media outlet Incrypted, Ukraine is drafting legislation to establish a national crypto reserve, with a primary focus on Bitcoin. The bill is being developed in collaboration with Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges.

Yaroslav Zhelezniak, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, confirmed that the bill is underway and expected to be presented soon.

> “We are working on a bill from the industry that would allow for the creation of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency reserves and will submit it soon,” Zhelezniak stated.

Binance Backs Ukraine’s Crypto Vision

Kirill Khomyakov, Binance’s Regional Head for Central Asia and Africa, voiced strong support for Ukraine’s initiative. While he acknowledged that the process would require substantial legal reform, he emphasized its long-term benefits for the country’s financial sovereignty and digital asset clarity.

> “The creation of such a reserve would require significant changes in legislation, which means that this process will not be quick,” Khomyakov said.
“Another positive aspect is that this initiative is likely to lead to greater clarity in the regulation of crypto assets in Ukraine, as the government will need to more clearly state its position on this issue.”

A Step Toward National Crypto Integration

Ukraine’s potential Bitcoin reserve marks a major shift in how governments may utilize cryptocurrencies not just as investment tools but as part of national financial strategies. If successful, this move could place Ukraine among the few countries globally with a formalized crypto reserve policy.
